Organize inventory, staff stories, service advice, and local content around a schedule your team can sustain.

Choose a few repeatable formats

Plan a vehicle walkaround, an ownership question, and a dealership story as recurring formats. Assign an owner to each. You do not need to publish every day if the schedule causes inaccurate information or low-quality posts.

Leave room for inventory changes

Maintain a simple list of vehicles approved for filming and check availability before publishing. Reserve flexible slots for arrivals, events, and customer deliveries with permission. Avoid scheduling a specific price or incentive without a review close to publication.

Batch production, not approvals

Film several suitable vehicles while conditions are good, then edit and caption them separately. Include an approval step for facts, customer permissions, manufacturer guidelines, and advertising requirements. Review the calendar monthly and retain formats that generate useful audience responses.

Use a simple weekly schedule

A weekly schedule can include a Monday vehicle walkthrough, a Wednesday answer to a buyer question, and a Friday staff or ownership story. Leave flexible space for a real arrival or approved dealership event. There is no requirement to post three times a week. Choose a rhythm your team can support, assign a reviewer for each post, and identify who will answer the questions after publication. Build the calendar around available people and vehicles, not an arbitrary volume target.

Give every content item a status

For each planned post, store a topic, vehicle stock reference when relevant, filming owner, approval owner, publication date, and status such as planned, filmed, approved, or published. Keep customer permissions in the dealership's approved records rather than a public calendar. A filmed post is not automatically approved: inventory, advertised terms, and hours can change before the scheduled date. Give someone responsibility for checking these details and for updating or withdrawing a post when information becomes inaccurate.

Build a reusable filming brief

Write a short brief with the question the video answers, the feature to show, the facts needing verification, and the next step for the viewer. Film the necessary shots while the vehicle is available, then review the caption separately. Keep an evergreen backlog of dealership-process and ownership topics for weeks when inventory changes quickly. After a month, compare which formats your team completed reliably and which produced useful questions. Adjust the workload based on both observations.
